What does the product entail?
For his capstone project for the Emerging Media Masters cohort, Clint Owens produced a brand identity package for an independent media outlet: Below The Fold
Below The Fold aims to expand on Clint’s experience in journalism and magazine writing, and produce premium digital content for clientele.
In addition to the brand identity package, Clint wrote and produced a multimedia narrative as an example of the type of content Below The Fold would offer to customers.
What technology does it utilize?
Below The Fold utilizes WordPress to display the frontend content of the primary website. All Below The Fold merchandising, product development, will be provided through WooCommerce, an online eCommerce platform.
In the development of the multimedia narrative exemplifying the type of content that Below The Fold will produce, Clint utilized various aspects of multimedia storytelling including: DSLR photography/cinematography, Drone photography/cinematography, 360-degree video, Adobe Illustrator, Final Cut Pro X, GIMP and PhotoShop.
Additionally, Clint Owens collaborated with professional composer Nikolas Geerken, for professional sound recording in podcast and video production.

Below The Fold aims to produce quality, digital video content to best help clients advance their business ventures. Target markets include event/wedding coverage, live show coverage, promotional videos, etc.
Below The Fold applies contemporary Vlogging / DIY film maker techniques, in order to run lean, with a smaller staff, while still producing content in concordance with the current industry standard.
This will allow Clint to streamline content produced in the Emerging Media program into a single branded identity, as well as gain experience producing a professional brand identity package and premium digital content.
